BFC is searching for a Cost Coordinator to support our projects across the United States.  The Cost Coordinator will be responsible for providing effective financial and purchasing support on one or multiple Projects.

Your tasks

·       Assist in the completion of weekly financial cost and revenue reports including daily, weekly and cumulative project to date totals

·       Cost control, monitoring and reporting versus budget. Assist in analyzing and reporting cost variances on all budget items to the Project Manager

·       Monitor project expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded

·       In Time and Materials situations, audit project costs and invoices to ensure all applicable reimbursable costs are recorded for monthly billing

·       Assisting with cost input to variation orders and other change orders together with project team and Project Manager

·       Assist in the preparation of monthly financial review reports

·       Organize and deal with communications for purchase orders with Purchasing Manager

·       Enter data into the company system (SAP) including purchase orders and matching supplier invoice, with corresponding documentation

·       Analyze supplier invoices and evaluate them with all quantities received on site

·       Identify and produce cost saving initiatives

·       Other ad-hoc duties as required by the Project Manager

Your profile

·       Willingness to travel  

·       Must be flexible and capable of multitasking

·       Experience in construction industry is strongly preferred

Education and Experience:
·       Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required
